He is survived by: his wife Connie Romine Burgess; his children, Tony Burgess of John Emerson, Trisha York (Jeff), Eric Daniel Burgess (Velora) and Travis Burgess (Brandi); his sisters, Sandra Patton, Jeannie Adams, Pamela Sergent and Tonya Casto (JJ); and his close friend Donald Ray Huffman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
