She is survived by: her children, Lisa Ann Basile and David Lee Faris; her grandchildren, Jennifer McLauglin, Joseph F. Basile III, Robert Vincent Faris II and Samantha Joan Faris; her great grandchildren, Alexia Basile, Austin Basile, Alyssa Basile, Lilliana McLaughlin, Joseph F. Basile IV, Lia McLaughlin and Shirly; and also Jonathan Landis.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in Joan's name be made to St. Jude's Childrens Cancer Hospital.
