She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Honaker and Ada Underwood Honaker; her husband Bill Simmons; her daughter Diane Simmons; and her siblings, Joann Hackett Pauley and Kenneth Honaker.
She is survived by: her nieces, Debbie Parsons and Sherry Hale.
