It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Carol Simmons of Nitro, West Virginia, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Honaker and Ada Underwood Honaker; her husband Bill Simmons; her daughter Diane Simmons; and her siblings, Joann Hackett Pauley and Kenneth Honaker.

She is survived by: her nieces, Debbie Parsons and Sherry Hale.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd West, Charleston WV 25387.
