Fred D. Newman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred D. Newman of Nitro, West Virginia, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Fred is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Fred's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newman and Juanita Kissick Newman. He is survived by: his brother William "Bill" Newman; his wife Mary; his son Fred (Rebecca); and his stepdaughters, Mary Ann (Todd) and Sara (Steve). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rest Memory Gardens (11013 Charleston Rd, Red House, WV 25168).
