She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Martin and Ueunice Hapney Martin; her husband Benjamin Harry Persinger; her sons, Grady Milton and Herbert Michael Persinger; her great grandchildren, Drake Andrew Brown, Laura Beth Self and Preston Roy Persinger; and her siblings, Johnny, Howard, Lenard, Roy (Cricket), Hank, Edgar Lee Martin, Pansy, Alice, Thelma, Verlie and Gladyes Jean Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Gerald, Jerry, Ronald Howard Persinger and Vera Lynn Brown (Allen). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
