He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Young, Sr. and Olive Hendricks Young; and his wife Delores McCallister Young. He is survived by: his daughter Rhoda Reed (Mark) of Cross Lanes; his grandson Jeremiah; his son Blaine Young (Donna) of Fraziers Bottom, WV; his grandchildren, Tim, Josh, Brandon (Nichole), Aaron (Misty), Danielle (Jennings) and Blaine; his son Timothy Young (Kim) of Cross Lanes, WV; and his grandchildren, Gavin, Mason and Callen. He is also survived by his 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cooke Funeral Home Chapel (2002 20th St, Nitro, WV 25143). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
