It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann Green of Nitro, West Virginia, born in Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivor Sr. Kimble and Helen Kimble (Coughlin) of Elyria, Ohio.; her husband James Green; her sister Bernadine Mayse (Kimble) of Elyria, Ohio; her sister-in-law Hope Kimble (Stover) of Winifrede, WV; and her great grandchild Gabriella Lynch.

She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle (Carter), Adkins (Richard) of Nitro, WV and Sandra Crawford (Wayne) of Cabin Creek, WV; her siblings, Patricia Kimble of Elyria, Ohio, Ivor Kimble, Jr. (Joyce) of Elyria and Rodney Kimble (Crystal) of Winifrede, WV; her grandchildren, Austin Carter, Tabitha (Carter), Lindsey (Malachi), Dakotah Lynch, Noah Crawford (Emily) and Caleb Carter; and her great grandchildren, Kai Lindsey, Miles and Lincoln Crawford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; along with many friends.

Surrounded by her family, Carol died due to complications from COVID.

Carol was a loving and caring woman, and because of her example, her family requests that, in lieu of flowers, everyone take a moment to count their blessings and give back to others as God has given to us.
