He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita E. Clark; his parents, James O. Clark and Mabel Lively; his siblings, James O. Clark, Jr. (Sonny) and Virginia Thornhill; and his grandson Andrew Humphreys.
He is survived by: his children, Suzie Clark Humphreys (Randy) of Cross Lanes, Randy Clark (Sue) of Hurricane and Judy Clark Whipkey (Kevin) of Nitro; his grandchildren, Kristin Humphreys Putnam (Wes) of Indian Land, SC, Dr. Grant Clark (Elizabeth) of Knoxville, TN, Katie Clark of Hurricane, Tyler Whipkey (Chloe) of Lexington, KY and Tanner Whipkey of Nitro; his great grandchildren, Brooks, Dayton, Mia Putnam, Eli, Adele and Edith Clark; and his nephew Jim Thornhill.
