He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Thompson and Ella Harvey Thompson; his former wife Barbara Thompson; and his son Keith Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Estelle Okes Thompson; his children, Marcella Lewis of Hernando, MS, John Hedrick of Daniels and Jerry Hedrick of Nimitz; and his grandchildren, Meagan Chapman, Anna Brown, Chu (Barnt), Donovan Hedrick, Chung Hedrick, Zain Hedrick and Gideon Hedrick.
