She was predeceased by: her mother Janice Dixon Thompson of Nimitz, WV.; and her grandparents, Adolphus A., Clara Parker Thompson, Paul C. and Carlisle Dixon.

She is survived by: her parent Pastor William Andrew; her siblings, Sheree Jo Thompson of South Charleston, Desiree Thompson Reed (Tom) of Nimitz, Frank Andrew Thompson of Nimitz and Billy-Don Thompson; her nieces and nephews, Jocelyn Rose Melin, Peyton Andrew Thompson, Ashley Reed Dimitroff (Ethan), Sean Thomas Reed, Katelyn Elizabeth Reed, Wesley Parker Reed, Beth Corinne Reed and Trevor Andrew Thompson; her great-aunts, Jo Dean Dixon Payne and Dolly Dixon; her aunts and uncles, Lois Dixon Thompson, Patsy Ruth Dixon, Jackie Lynn Dixon, Paula Dixon Meadows (Jeff), Connie Thompson Chisholm and Rose Thompson Adkins (Hobert); her significant other Keith Leon Jewell; and her sister Amy Peterson. She is also survived by cousins, dear friends.

Renee exemplified this love and has requested that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to Bowers Hospice House of Beckley, WV or your favorite animal rescue shelter.
