With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James William Stokes Jr. of Nimitz, West Virginia, born in Hinton, West Virginia, who passed away on March 6, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Ann Stokes (Sykes); and his sister Eleanor Agard. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Alder (Dennis) of Nimitz, WV, William Stokes (Charleen) of New Martinsville, WV and Sandra Boden (Neil) of Beckley, WV; and his grandchildren, Kelly Alder-Janes (Sam), Brian Alder (Link), Miranda Rogers (Brian) and Kevin Stokes. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
