We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2024, at the age of 72, James Roy Crook of Nimitz, West Virginia, born in Hinton, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Jackson and Dorothy Earnestine Crook; and his siblings, Ruth Smith, Paul, Jackie, Sammy and Johny Crook.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila Wills Crook; his children, Andrea Crook Black (Mike) of Nimitz, Chris Gilbert of Pence Springs and Roy Lee Crook (Kim) of Jumping Branch; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Tristan, Noah, Cody, Saigan, Claire and Braydon; his stepgrandsons, Andrew, Wyatt, Wessley (Autumn) and Levi Black; his great grandchildren, Malia and Kade; and his siblings, Kenny, Dallas Crook, Tenie Bremer, Linda Ratliff, Janice Shrader, Edith Cook, Brenda Trent and Mary Wright. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
