He was predeceased by: his parents, Dow McGlothlin and Virgie Cottrell McGlothlin; his grandson Brandon Lee McGlothlin; his son-in-law Donald Conley; and his siblings, Lula Belle Chapman, Delmar Bert "Bud" McGlothlin and Dow Coy McGlothlin.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Jean Clute McGlothlin; his children, Romie "Mikie" of Parkersburg, Dow of Newton, Timmy (Anna) of Walton, Kellis (Angie) of Clover Ridge, Julie Conley of Newton and Cathy Adkins (Melvin) of Oak Hill; and his sisters, Patsy McGlothlin of Ohio, Willa Faye Towner of Ohio and Elua Ann Dye of Newton. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home (406 Market St, Spencer, WV 25276). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
