He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith of Newton; his close friend Frances Nichols of Newton; his children, Randy (Allison) of Newton, Daniel (Valerie) of Newton, Robin Maple (Milton) of Bunker Hill, Melissa Wells (Bill) of North Carolina and Jennifer Good (Chad) of Ripley; his siblings, Frank Smith (Virginia) of Spencer, John Smith (Pam) of Amma, Janice O'Dell of Charleston, Barbara Collins (James) of Newton and Robert "Bobby" Starcher of Newton; his grandchildren, Johnny, Kinley, Cruz, Cody, Chance, Daniel, Joe, Randy, Shaun, Chyler, Nikki, Patrick, Bradley and Meaghan; his great grandchildren, Colten, Eli, Avery, Kennedy, Sean, Olivia and Rafe; and his pet Cutie Pie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
