He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Swisher (Hawkins); his son Matthew Hovatter; his grandchildren, Austin and Traytin Hovatter; his brothers, Lawrence Swisher Wheeling (Melissa) and Edward Swisher (Millie); his nieces, Hermiety Van Laar (Grant) and Miranda Cox (Lucas); his nephew Jebb Swisher (Kerrigan); his great grandchildren, Gracie and Finley; his uncles, William Boylen and Carl Boylen; and his siblings-in-law, Olaf Frank Hawkins Jr. Newburg (Ellen), Joyce Bolyard Newburg (Charles) and Debra Hawkins.
