It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Bolyard (Newburg, West Virginia), born in Philippi, West Virginia, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Wesley and Wilma Etta Rutherford Bolyard; his brother Emerson Bolyard; his sister-in-law Blinda Kay Bolyard; his sister Eris Bolyard; and his brother-in-law Dorsie Emmit Bolyard.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Lynn Campbell Bolyard; his children, Tonda Davis (Scott), Allen Collins (Kelly), Eric Bolyard (Roberta Swaney) and Chris Bolyard (Wendy); his grandchildren, Brandon McDonald Bolyard (Sammi Kay), Clayton Collins (Jenna), Austin Cutright, Sydney Davis, Jacob Collins, Samantha Davis, Chase Cutright, Malesa Taylor, Sierra Davis and Aliya Bolyard; and his brothers, Leslie Bolyard and Colin Bolyard (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 2-7 PM with proper distancing and face mask required, and Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 9AM until time of service at Noon with Pastor David Freeman officiating.
