He was predeceased by: his parents, Saul Richards and Glenna "Brown" Richards; his daughter Shelly; his granddaughter Brandy; and his daughter-in-law Vonda.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Clair; and his children, Kara and Sam (Cheryl). He is also survived by two granddaughters, six great-grandchildren.
