She was predeceased by: her parents, Josiah Jordon Rodeheaver and Hazel Hilda Rodeheaver (Rankin); her husband Frederick O. Shay Sr.; her siblings, Michael Rodeheaver, Benny Rodeheaver (Thelma), Wanda Rodeheaver, Patsy Strahin (Melvin) and Linda Funk (Raymond); and her brother-in-law William Casteel.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Shay Jr. (Tabitha) of Bruceton Mills, WV, Diane Shay of Newburg, WV and Cassie Shay of Newburg, WV; her grandson Christian Galloway of Bruceton Mills, WV; and her siblings, Marvin Rodeheaver (Mary) of Albright, WV, Betty Casteel of Terra Alta, WV, Ida Loughry (Samuel) of Newburg, WV and Peggy Cramer (George) of Terra Alta, WV. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
