She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Ray and Vonda Cornelia Taylor (Shay); her significant other Donald "Don" Ray Shaffer of Shay's Chapel Cemetery; and her siblings, Larry Taylor, Richard Taylor, Arthur Taylor and Sue Cassiday.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Kline Shaffer (Christine) and Kevin Ray Shaffer (Wanda); her grandchildren, Emma Louise Shaffer and Lauren Grace Shaffer; and her close friends, Delisa Riley and Jeannie Beveridge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shay's Chapel Church (3939 Yorks Run Rd, Newburg, WV 26410).
