It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Homer Roy Pratt Jr. (Newburg, West Virginia), born in Grafton, West Virginia, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Pratt, Roy Pratt, Ralph Pratt (Patricia), Ronald Pratt (Dorothy), Terrance Pratt, David Pratt and Vera Doraine Whiting; and his brothers-in-law, Clyde Whiting and Paul Shaffer.
He is survived by: his close friend Eppy Bennett; his sisters, Carolyn Shaffer of Woodbridge, VA and Roberta Peacock (James) of Lovettsville, VA; and his sister-in-law Mildred Pratt of Leesburg, VA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
