He is survived by: his wife Leona Bell Pettit; his sons, Rodney Pettit (Sandy) of Sand Fork, WV, Rick of Tanner, WV and Richard Pettit of Tanner, WV; his granddaughters, Jodi Snider (Matt) of Parkersburg, WV, Sydney Pettit of Washington, DC, Cassondra Pettit of Parkersburg, WV, Gracie of Clarksburg, WV and Izzie Pettit of Clarksburg, WV; his great grandchild Elias Blizzard; and his siblings, Tom Pettit and Shirley Thomas.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc. (107 Market St, Grantsville, WV 26147). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
