He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elda Mae Shields and Andrew Don Shields; his wife Rhonda Sue Shields; his daughters, Teresa (Robbie Hatfield), Heather (Will McCall) and Leah Hill; his daughter-in-law Angie Hatfield; his grandchildren, James Phillips, Dalton, Lilly Hill, Austin, Hailey, Wyatt McCall, Logan Hatfield, Katrina and Tyler Hatfield; his great grandchildren, Gracie, Lillian, Tommy, Raelynn and Baron; his siblings, Sandra (Nelson Lusk) and Charles (Deanna Shields); and his son Jamey Phillips.
