She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Plauger and Nancy Lexie Davis Plauger; her husband Kermit Grover Hines, Jr.; her daughter Nancy Siders; and her brother George Plauger.
She is survived by: her children, Kermit Hines (Lisa) of Seaford, DE, Michelle Gregori (Stephen) of Hurlock, MD, Paul Hines (Theresa) of Cambridge, MD and Christopher Hines (Sarah) of Kenna, WV.; her son-in-law Salem; her grandchildren, Heather Cox, Annamarie Short, Oliver Frazier (Stephanie), Amber Siders, Erin Holliday, Krista Morrow (Clarence), Jenny Simmons, Kaleb Hines, Kaitlynn Gregori (Chris), Nicholas Gregori, Austin Hines, Danielle Bayes (Brandon), Andrew Hines (Sarah), Sophia Dyer (JD), Lexi Mosley (Kyle), Luke Vickers, Chloe Vickers and Emma Harless (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Nerual McCandless, Quinn Cox, Kiah Short, Eva Short, Aleah Short, Ella Frazier, Rowan Fraizer, Wylder Frazier, Presleigh Baker, Sutavia Simmons, Suprel Simmons, Mekhi Simmons, Kingston Simmons, Kasen Hines, Kayci Hines, Kaden Hines, Kira Hines, Easton Bayes, Lillian Bayes, Laelynn Hines, Sadie Hines and Callie Hines; and her brothers, Forrest Plauger (Helen) and Blaine Plauger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Home & Crematory-Salem (1999 W Main St, Salem, WV 26426). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
