We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2021, at the age of 71, Velva Lasure of New Martinsville, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Wayne and Willetta Morris (Teagarden); her children, Brian Wayne Lasure and Theresa Lasure; and her brother Edward Morris.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Lasure; her children, Michael E. Lasure of Oklahoma, OK and Prudence Lasure of Morgantown, WV; her siblings, Howard Morris, Sandra Headley of Salem, WV and Shirley McCoy of Blacksville, WV; her grandchildren, Brian, Maranda, Cory, Hannah, Anel, Amy, Arlene, Azela, Azanet and Michael; and her great grandchild Alani. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
