She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cecil and Mary Edna Cecil (Melott); her husband Harry Joy; her daughter Donna Swager; and her sister Dora Mae "Lucy" Wade.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Joy of New Martinsville, WV, Richard Joy (Trish) of Kent, WV and James Joy of New Matamoras, OH; and her brothers, Arnold Cecil of New Martinsville, WV and Bob Cecil of Middlebourne, WV. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
