It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mona Brown of New Martinsville, West Virginia, born in Pine Grove, West Virginia, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Mae Wise Dunham and Clark Dunham; her husband Samuel E. Brown; her sister Jean Postlethwait; and her granddaughter Kayla Lipscomb.
She is survived by: her children, Gregg Brown (Cheri) of Jacksonburg, Pamela Lipscomb (David) of New Martinsville, WV, Mark Brown (Shelly) of Hundred, WV and Bryan Brown (Tracey) of Jacksonburg, WV; her grandchildren, Robert Brown (Heidi), Kasee Porter (David) and Michael Brown (Jenny); her great grandchildren, Shannon Brown, George Brown, Samuel Porter, Whitney Brown, Samuel Brown and Jeremy Porter; and her siblings, Maxine Wise, Loretta Loy (Lawrence), Kay Austin (David) and Donald Dunham (Marilyn). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
