She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cecil and Doretta Cecil (Potts); her siblings, Norma Andrew, Dora Yoho and Robert Gene Cecil; and her grandson Justin.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Long; her sons, Steven Long (Cindy) of Bee Bee, WV, Jerry Long of New Martinsville, WV, David Long of New Martinsville, WV and Dennis Long (Jamie) of Silver Hill, WV; her grandchildren, Brandon, Trevor, Jason, Jesse, Travis and Hayley; her great grandchildren, Liam, Peyton, Avery, Madison, Jaykub, Landon, Tailynn and Willow; and her sisters, Joyce Postlethwait of Warren, OH and Carol Kover of Warren, OH. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Melba's name, to the Jolliff Cemetery.
