It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mabel Gertrude Shank of New Martinsville, West Virginia, born in Proctor, West Virginia, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldred Liniger and Esther Liniger (Smith); her husband Paul Shank; her brother John Liniger; and her grandson John Peffer.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill (Beth), Jeff, Rick and Mike Shank (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Amanda, Zeke Hall, Jeffery Shank (Defileen), Dylan Shank (Andrew), Shawn Pritchard (Mandy), Anna Shank and Emily Stanley (Ruffin); and her sister Arwana "Poke" Wade (Delb). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
