It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyda Virden (New Martinsville, West Virginia), born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, who passed away on May 9, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew 'Jack' and Irene Duncan (Roush); her husband Donald Virden, Sr.; and her brother Larry Duncan. She is survived by: her children, Larry Virden (Joyce) of Reynoldsburg, OH, Donald Virden, Jr. (Lou Ann) of New Martinsville and Teresa Rush (Paul) of New Martinsville; her grandchildren, Nicole Fortney (Les) of New Martinsville, Ben Virden of Oak Ridge, TN, Erica Covey (James) of Jacksonville, NC, Laura Virden (Kevin) of Oak Ridge, TN, Daniel Chomin-Virden (Emma) of Miami, FL and Jawn Virden (Michaela) of Columbus, OH.; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Nickolis, Galen, KayAnn, Marigold, Elijah and Noah.
