It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Smith of New Martinsville, West Virginia, born in Paden City, West Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Blatt and Iva Blatt (Snodgrass); her husband Harold Smith; her daughter Veronica Smith; and her siblings, Wilbert, Bob, Tom, Dreva Harris, Mary Kidder, Betty Billiter and Melva Stroup.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith (Cindy) of New Martinsville, WV, David Smith (Dee) of Wheeling, WV and Dianna Smith of Wheeling, WV; her siblings, Ernest Blatt (Dorothy) of Paden City, WV, Frank Blatt of Paden City, WV, Phyllis Sonneberger of Akron, OH and Bonnie Hizer of Paden City, WV; her grandchildren, Stacy Yoho, Erica Smith, Courtney Archer, Jill Emery, Holly Hyde and Dr. Natasha Smith; her great grandchildren, Braxton, Ryder, Emily, Reese, Lena, Gage and Liam; her sister-in-law Shirley Blatt; and her niece Karen Richmond (John). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
