He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle W. Phillips and Louise Sunderman Phillips; his brother George Phillips; and his granddaughter Alli Moody. He is survived by: his children, J. B. Phillips (Lynn) of Vienna, WV, Mike Phillips (Barb) of Bel Air, MD and Jennifer Phillips (Mark Workman) of Lost Creek, WV. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
