He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Johnson, and Betty Lou Johnson, Sr. (Howell); and his sister Charla Jobes. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Johnson of Proctor, WV, Angela Carpenter (Marshall) of Paden City, WV, Charles Johnson, III of New Martinsville, WV and Barney Johnson (Jodi) of Canonsburg, PA; his sisters, Barbara Starkey of New Martinsville, WV and Pam Locke (Bill) of Paden City, WV; his grandchildren, Drew Carpenter, Kyle Carpenter, Dylan Johnson and Theo Johnson; his great grandchild Averliegh Carpenter; and his girlfriend Linda "Sue" O'Neil. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
