She was predeceased by: her husband Phil Batey; her son Gary F. Batey; and her sisters, Theodera Switters and Frances Epps. She is survived by: her children, Ralph R. Batey and Phyliss Yost (Cliff); her grandchildren, Alisa Bonecutter, Mark R. Yost (Sharon), Phillip Batey, Tyler Batey, Lynne Sample (Mike), Casey G. Batey and Kevin A. Batey; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Garis, Kristine, Bradley, Marybeth, Gavin and Landin; and her great great grandchild Avery. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
