He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Kay Williams Benson; his son Matthew Benson of Morgantown, WV; his grandsons, Elijah and Andus Benson; and his siblings-in-law, Roberta Dunn of Kingsport, TN and John P. Williams of Burnsville, WV..
