With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iona Zerkle (New Haven, West Virginia), born in Cottageville, West Virginia, who passed away on June 9, 2019 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Iona Zerkle to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horton Henry and Bessie Louise Snyder (Donohue); and her siblings, Harold, George, Hubert Ray, Harry, Ralph, Jerry Wayne, Max, Ross, Gary, Lydia Heasley, Mary Shinn, Juanita Snyder and Aleta Weaver.
She is survived by: her husband Charles N. Zerkle; her sons, Charles N. Zerkle Jr. of Barboursville, WV and Elvis Zerkle of Evans, WV.; her grandchildren, Charles N. Zerkle III, Caddric Zerkle, Caleby Zerkle, Haleigh Zerkle and Tiffany Cole; her great grandchildren, Easton Cole and Collins Cole; and her sisters, Naomi Gillenwater and Alice Hunter.
