He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alice DeCapio and Willard; and his stepgrandfather Pete Tessler. He is survived by: his parents, Samuel J. DeCapio Sr. of New Cumberland and Norina; his daughters, Ashley DeCapio of Follansbee and Brittany DeCapio of Morgantown, WV; and his siblings, Joseph DeCapio (Darla) of Wellsville, Theresa DeCapio of Salem and Tasha Norton of New Cumberland.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel (607 Carolina Ave, Chester, WV 26034). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
