He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Persina and Margaret Gibson Persina. He is survived by: his wife Gail Wojnar Persina; his sons, Michael Persina (Ann) of Waynesville, OH. and Joseph Larry Persina (Cindy) of Wintersville, OH.; his brothers, William James Persina (Joanne) of Maryland and Phillip Jeffrey Persina (Karen) of Follansbee; his grandchildren, Daniel, Kimberlyn, Hailey, Sydney, Hannah Persina, Kayla Pompa (Anthony) and Kelsie Pool; and his great grandchild Camilla Pompa.
