With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Johnston (New Cumberland, West Virginia), born in Chester, West Virginia, who passed away on November 17, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Sara Edith (Davis) and James Hilary Johnston; his wife Mary Ann (Rogers); his sons, Jim and John; his brothers, Bob and Bill; his daughter Millicent Hines (George) of New Cumberland; his grandsons, George Hines (Jelayne) of Canfield, Phil Hines of Chester and James Johnston (Laura) of Follansbee; his daughter-in-law Diana Johnston; and his great grandchildren, Tyler and Sophie.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to contribute to a favorite charity or to the Chester Teapot Fund.
