She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Markle and Helen Markle (Swearingen); her in-laws, Paul and Delnora Barkhurst (Diamond); and her son Brian Paul.
She is survived by: her husband Albert "Manny" Barkhurst; her children, Bradley Barkhurst (Belinda) of Weirton, Kristine Spurlock (Brian) of Chester and Nancy Watkins (Christian) of New Cumberland; her siblings, Kenneth Markle (Helen) of Paris, PA, Linda Strosky (Rich) of Weirton and Dottie Reardon (Robert) of Weirton; her brother-in-law James Cassella (Carol) of Georgetown, PA; and her grandchildren, Haley, Lauren, Caleb, Gabriella, Alexandra and CJ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
