He is survived by: his brother William Chipps; his granddaughter Mariah Chipps; his sons, Matthew Chipps (April) of Follansbee, WV and Pete Chipps (Catinna) of Sophia, NC; his siblings, Bob Chipps (Jackie) of Follansbee, WV, John Chipps of New Cumberland, WV, Jeff Chipps (Julie) of New Cumberland, WV, Kathy Skinner (Tim) of Clarksburg, WV, Brenda Aspy of Clarksburg, WV, Kim Nicholson (Pat) of Clarksburg, WV, Debbie Thompson of Clarksburg, WV, Dave Chipps (Alvenia) of Salem, WV and Mike Chipps (Mary) of Colliers, WV; his grandchildren, Matthew B. Chipps II, Megan Wolfe, Douglas Chipps and Christian Aikins; and his great grandchildren, Wren Wolf and Laylani Aikins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
