It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leah Elizabeth Getson of New Creek, West Virginia, born in Lonaconing, Maryland, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Henry and Charlotte Audrey Getson (Muir); and her siblings, Franklin "Sonny" Getson and Bonnie Jean Buskirk. She is survived by: her children, Eric Calhoun (Dawn) of Hartsville, SC, Tammy Jean Calhoun of Lamar, SC, Julie Shanholtz of Ohio, Elizabeth Shutt (Mark) of Bunker Hill, WV and Lori Didawick of New Creek; and her sisters, Mary Getson of Ohio and Frances Linaburg of Ridgeley, WV. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
