James E. Shumaker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Shumaker of New Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Shumaker and Anna Shumaker (Green) of Virginia; and his brothers, Jerry and Jake Shumaker. He is survived by: his wife Kay (Thomas); his daughters, Teresa Elder (Chris), Lisa Braun (Mick) and Lorre Kimble (Joey); his grandchildren, Grace, James, Charlie, Christopher and Ella; his brothers, Jeff Shumaker (Kelly) and Jody Shumaker (Tab); and his sister-in-law Susie Shumaker. He is also survived by many nephews and a special niece who he considered as his own children.
