Edward F. Oates Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward F. Oates of New Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on December 25, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Oates and Nina Oates (Bobo); and his siblings, Harry E. Oates of Romney, John M. D. Oates of Pennsylvania, Norman L. Oates of South Carolina and Hazel Westfall Miller (Oates) of New Creek.
He is survived by: his brother Wayne M. Oates (Linda) of Fountain, WV; and his children, Debby Pezzanite (Mike) of Slanesville, WV, Bill Oates (Missy) of Stephenson, VA and Teresa Moffatt (Oates) of Inwood, WV. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, visitation will be private for the family.
