He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Raymond and Evelyn Gertrude Knotts (Leatherman); and his brothers, Ronald and Jerry "Gary" Leatherman. He is survived by: his wife Teresa R. Knotts (Junkins); his children, Ethan and Samantha Knotts; his siblings, Rhonda Saville (Jim) of Keyser and Roger Leatherman (Irene) of New Creek; his sister-in-law Tammy Leatherman of Keyser; his mother-in-law Rosalie Junkins of New Creek; and his sister-in-law Tara Haggerty (Mike) of Maysville, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews.
