It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David William Lyon of New Creek, West Virginia, born in Keyser, West Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lyon, Jr. and Dorothy M. Lyon (Fleming); his former wives, Linda Lyon (Strother) and Marlyon Lyon (Pancake); his wife Karen Lyon (Kesner); and his brother Robert "Bobby" Lyon.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine Lyon, Crystal of Myrtle Beach, SC and Mike Lyon of New Creek; his siblings, Dorothy Lyon of Keyser and Roger Lyon (Janice) of New Creek; his stepsons, Bradley Pancake and Louis Pancake, II; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Lyon, Dottie Kesner, Joyce Morris (Jim) and Dick Strother; his stepgranddaughters, Autumn and Amber Pancake; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Heather, Stevie and Lexi Duckett. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
