He is survived by: his wife Margaret I. "Peggy" Smith (Carr); his children, Kelly Inez Stemple (Ryan) of Rock, WV, Charles W. Smith II (Debbie) of Keyser and Jeremy B. Smith (Tena) of Longmont, Colorado; his sister Mollie Corbin (Paul); his grandchildren, Tory Stemple of Mac Stemple, Crystal Heise, Jena Smith and Jacy Smith; and his great grandchildren, Elleyana, Izaiah and Kaidryk Heise. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
