She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Chapman and Cora Fitzwater Chapman; and her husband James Brown Bond. She is survived by: her children, Eva Dorsey of Mt. Nebo, Diana Burroughs of Nettie, Clara "Cookie" Thomas of Nettie, Steve Bond of Craigsville and David Bond of Nettie; and her sister Shirley Brown of Charleston. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter, 1 great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rainelle Chapel (283 Main St, Rainelle, WV 25962). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
