She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie William and Rachel Mae Laws Sr.; her husband Roy Lee Perdue Sr.; and her siblings, Jesse Laws Jr. and Donna Ikner.

She is survived by: her children, Alicia (Roger Parsons II), Roy Perdue Jr., Kevin (Anita Perdue), Jonthan (Cindy Perdue) and Randall Perdue; and her close friend Virginia "Meg" Kinder. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; six brothers and four sisters.
