He was predeceased by: his parents, Dona Lester and Eliza Jane Lester (Belcher); his sister Marie Lester Colbird; his brother-in-law Billy; his sister Lorraine Dugger; his brother-in-law Clyde Dugger; his sister Sylvia Mae Lester Cook; his sibling-in-law Kyle; and his brothers, Nathan and James Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae Lester; his children, Tammy Mitchell (Mickey), Cheryl Hylton (Stacy), Tina Shrewsbury (Cecil), Jay Lester (Shawn) and Dennis Lester (Janet); his grandchildren, Jessica Griffith and Jason Lane; and his siblings, Rita Ladden (Steve), Patton Lester (JoAnn) and Paul Lester (Alice). He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
