He was predeceased by: his son Michael Peyton King; and his parents, Verna Mae Johnson King and Luther Peyton King, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn "Kay" King; his daughter Pamela K Cook (Jeff); his siblings, Stuart King and Susan Browning; his grandchildren, Alisha Kelley (Jessie), Hillary King (Caleb), Kaitlin Cook, Hannah Cook, Michael King and Makayla King; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Myles and Addison.
